Great job on winning second place, people! Score Update courtesy of Luke the Swift. Also there may be a short while before our next LC, as there is a major LCC development in motion. So just load up on those free build and guild entries for the time being.

So, hope no one minds here, but this is our first go at this new contest format, and a little armchair quarterbacking is in order I think...

Things that make you go hmmmm: We won two out of three categories...and still didn't take top points for GC VI. We had strong entries in all three, and the only point I am making here is to note how doggone important that Unrestricted Category turned out to be. Triple points just can't be ignored. It's important for each faction to have great entries in all three categories, obviously. But as far as lessons learned, at least for me, for GC VI I put completion of the Vignette and Restricted as top priority in completing builds, and ran out of time for the Unrestricted. So for next time, I plan on completing the Unrestricted first. I think for those of us with the resources to go that big, but not much time, this is solid strategy.
Completing all three is desirable obviously so Lenfald has the greatest number of builds to choose from, but 3 builds in one month is crazy for a slow builder like me. Totally understand if you disagree, but "dats the play as I sees it..."

Wow, triple points. I need to get on the ball with my building...just like you Caelan, I barely had time for 2 entries, much less three....I will do my best in the next GC, Go Lenfald!

If the starting scores currently at the beginning of our Lenfald Thread are correct, we are still on top for points, keeping our glorious Lenfald as the top faction!!!...but not by much:

Lenfald - 285 + GC VI's 124 = 409
Garheim - 270 + GC VI's 136 = 406
Loreos - 282.5 + GC VI's 50 = 332.5
Outlaws - 172.5 + GC VI's 38 = 210.5

As noted in the GC thread, the voting points do not equal Global Points.
I need to confer with the KC on how we will be doing global points for this new GC format.

Whoops! Sorry AK, I made a mistake and thought they translated 1 for 1 to Global Points, completely my bad. I've edited it out of my comment above to keep from further misleading my fellow Lenfels. That said, if you are taking suggestions, I very much like the points system that Disco86 suggested his comment, which I now understand was your intent in the first place: 10s for each category with an additional 10 for overall winner. Works for me!

I agree with Cealian. I think that 33x33 category should be our primary concern. So that we can make sure we invest all of our bricks and, building time into that one build! Overall great GC guys. We did pretty beast!

I will be instituting an opportunity for you guys to reap some more bragging rights. Every month, The MOC that I find to exhibit the most creativity, realism, detail, etc, will be featured as the MOC of the Month. The MOC of the Month will be posted on the first of each Month in the first post, under the scores. The member who's MOC is selected will earn a Custom Title which will be displayed on the scoreboard, and in the members signature. However, only the current Builder of the month will hold the Title! Some one can easily steal it away with an amazing build of their own. It IS possible to hold it for several consecutive months, if you somehow manage to put out steller top notch builds every month. Any feebuild, LC entry, GC entry, and guild entry is eligible to be selected. Our first BOTM will be announced April First.
