Rock climbing is one of my favorite pastimes! Well worth the lengthy workout it'll give you. It makes scaling those Lenfel trees a piece of cake!

Rock climbing is definitely awesome! But climbing rocks is a whole lot different than climbing trees! Climb trees, where handholds are minimal to none, and climbing your outlaw rocks will be easier than walking!Aeridian wrote:Rock climbing is one of my favorite pastimes! Rock climbing easy ? No way. It's a hard fall if you slip. Atleast with trees you may be slowed down falling by the branches
I used to enjoy caving. There is one cave goes down about 330 metres. And caves can be very dangerous for many reasons .
Best not climb too many trees...unless being chased by wolves .

Ha, trees? Nothin' compared to a good mountain. Trees burn, if you're being chased by wolves. Mountains burning? I've never heard of it happening.

Ah yes, trees CAN burn, but that is only because you forgetful Outlaws don't put out your fires. PLUS, mountains do have something potentially more dangerous.....AVALANCHE!!!!

Avalanches dangerous to Outlaws?
NOT.
We LIVE in the mountains. We know how to escape avalanches. And trees fall over in avalanches. Mountains still rule.

Ha, prove it. Next time I see an outlaw run faster than an avalanche falls, I'll believe you
And who says all trees fall in avalanches? Maybe your wimpy Outlaw trees, but not ours! Ours are strong and mighty, easily able to withstand an avalanche.

And in Loreos, we have. . . sand. Lots of sand. At least we get a good dose of vitamin D. . .

Anyone who says climbing trees is harder than rock climbing has obviously never ever gone rock climbing. I've never been so completely exhausted as the few times I've gone rock climbing. Many times, you're clinging to a sheer face using nothing more than a fingertip or two and maybe a toe. Trees are a piece of cake compared to that.

Re: LCC - inter-faction jibber jabber
Outlaws don't see as much snow in our territories as the 'Northern reaches' . An rock climbing [and caving] is tough . However some of the elder Wolf Clan folk tell of giant Lenfald trees rising to nearly 340 metre in some of the coastal valleys . Such trees were said to be very dangerous to climb. Maybe I'll check them out some time . Wolf Clan youngsters sometimes sleep up in trees in special hammocks . This provides extra safety from wolves, bandits, Lenfald scouts. Oops ,maybe I shouldn't have shared that.

I wouldn't be too confident Matthew. After all, Outlaws do have a lot of experience in running away from things. ;Dmpoh98 wrote:Ha, prove it. Next time I see an outlaw run faster than an avalanche falls, I'll believe you

Re: LCC - inter-faction jibber jabber
Well, sure. From me, from my friends, from little rabbits that move through the forest... But an avalanche? Beat that in a race, and then we'll see.Andared of Lenfald wrote:I wouldn't be too confident Matthew. We don't have avalanches. Those are in Garheim. We have rock and mudslides because our terrain is not snowy like our northern brethren.

I've always been a fan of the slogan, "We must fight, so we can run away!" It's one of the oldest and noblest Outlaw traditions.Andared of Lenfald wrote:
