This thread accepts general discussion of this game, correct?

If so, can anyone explain why someone would have their Town Hall completely out in the open and unguarded? Out of occupational habit, I do a lot of "visiting" and I noticed some people being set up like this. I'm still very new, with not much of anything (to include experience), so I figured I was missing something.

How far along are you guys? I'm currently increasing my reserves to 25,000, so maybe the next upgrade will get me enough to store 40,000 for the Clan Castle.

Is there a way to communicate outside of a Clan among one another? Like, directly; not Globally. I wouldn't mind a friendly skirmish before we join this clan. :D

Yes, there is a reason, I do it myself. It is called farming. Farming is where you go for resources, and upgrade constantly, and never care about your trophies, and how many battles you lose. You put the the storages in the center of the base, so they are the hardest to reach, and your defenses around it, making sure you get good splash damage from your mortars and wizard towers. Your town hall goes on the outside, as it is no longer important. If you going for trophies, then it would be on the inside. I hope this helps! :)

You can't really fight someone on Clash of Clans unless you find them. There isn't a way where you see someone (for instance, lets say you see me in global), and can a attack them. You have to find them when you search for opponents (which means you have to be the same trophy range), and again, you might never find them. There are so many players playing CoC, that you would have to be lucky to find someone you know on LCC. :)

I think that it would be great to play that game with LCC members. The only problem with me joining another LCC clan is that I am leader of a clan I started a year ago. Feel more than welcome to look up my clan :"John Deere" and join! I am the clan leader if you wish to visit my base.

Go to the sidebar on the left, where you can go to global chat and clan chat. Go to clan chat, click the small letter "i" on the top right of that pop out chat, and you can search clans. :)

I recognized some names also. Some others I have no idea if they're just friends of friends, or people from here, though.

I didn't mean to (and I'm actually quite upset about it), but I've got my Clan Castle built up. I clicked on "Upgrade" or whatever the button is, thinking it would bring up an information window, and this was not the case whatsoever. It was automatically and instantly rebuilt. So, there went the 40,000 gold I was saving for defense upgrades down the drain.

My beginner's shield runs out today, sometime in the late afternoon. So, after that happens, I will try and get the hang of raiding and pillaging, and try to earn the trophy requirement that I saw set on the clan. I currently have a whopping zero. It also says it is invite only. Who do I need to contact to get one sent to me once I'm ready?

Ok, great! I will lower it to 0 for you later today. :) Also, no, you don't need to have someone contact you, just click the join button, and it will ask you to write a message to the clan saying why you want to join. Just say your from classic-castle, and request, and one of us elders/co-leaders/leader will accept you! :D

So there are quite a few unfamiliar names in our LCC clan (which I finally joined :eyebrows: )

Could we have like an active list on the front page that states who every member in the clan is, or maybe someone just post here and say who they are?
