*drip* *drip* *drip*

___"Hunhh..." Galf blinked open his eyes slowly, trying to register where he was. Then it hit him.
___The military court had been a disaster. As Galf had entered the room, he had seen a tall, thin, unpleasant sort of fellow with a sneer looking at him from the jury box. Although Galf himself had not even been on trial, only a witness, by the end of the day he had somehow been convicted of murdering his sergeant.
___Now, thinking back, he began to wonder if he had been a scapegoat, brought there in order for the case to be closed, and the investigation ended. The man with the sneer had been the one who had convinced the rest of the jury that he was guilty, Galf was sure. But the jury of Lewgalad's Military Court was never just random civilians picked to judge the cases. They were selected from the ranks and the king's personal advisors. So why had that man tried (and succeeded) to end the case wrongly? Galf's head was hurting, and he settled back down on the hard stone bench to try to get some rest.

(Hopefully "Regina Callista" means "Beautiful Queen," or "Most Beautiful Queen," or something like that. I don't know Latin. Also, I'm making the Black Knights to the south of everything else so far.)
Location: Onboard the Regina Callista, flagship of the Imperial Navy, in the western sea; sailing towards Falconia.

___Queen Accalia sighed. Although she had thus far ruled as best she could, her once noble kingdom was falling from grace. More and more rogues and disreputable characters were coming to her beloved homeland, and there was nothing she could do about it. Oh, she'd used her influence with the Order of the Twilight to try to get them to protect her borders, but as a group of islands with many, many small inlets and harbors, the kingdom wasn't well suited to keeping invaders out.
___Lately, however, it had become much worse. Parties of men falsely bearing the arms of the Legions had been sailing to the mainland and raiding the lands they found, giving the Black Knights a bad name among the peasants and simple folk of other lands, and more recently, some of the nobility. Accalia had had to make this journey to Falconia herself, as her ambassadors were not being granted audiences in any land except that of the Forestmen, who were in no position to help her, what with their lands being overridden with skeletons.

___Looking up from her table, the Queen of the Black Knights gazed out of her rain-spattered windows. The lanterns on her escort ships were blurred by the water streaming from the sky, and they reminded her of when she was young, and would look out from her tower at night to see the rain-swept town. Ah, for those days. If only her brother hadn't drowned, she wouldn't have to be ruling in these troubled times...
___"Ma'am?" The mate's gentle voice woke her from her dozing reverie. "My Lady, we are approaching Saker Port. We should dock in about twenty minutes." Bowing, the man left the cabin.
___Queen Accalia sighed again, and stood up, beckoning for her ladies in waiting to help her prepare to disembark.

Location: Galf's cell, Main dungeons, Castle of the Guard, Leonopolis, Lewgalad.

___A sound like a millstone grinding woke Galf. Looking around for the source of the annoying noise, he soon spotted one of the big, square-cut stones that made up the floor being lifted, from beneath. Although the piece of rock was at least three and a half studs long and wide, and a stud thick, it was being lifted almost effortlessly. Soon, a the head of what appeared to be a very large mole poked out of the hole, quickly followed by the rest of its body, and a very short, black haired man.
___The little man began to speak, though the accent was so thick that Galf couldn't understand him at first. "Wayl, coom ahn den, Oi 'aven't gaht oll dai t'get yoo oot o' 'eyre."*
___Galf blinked. "What did you just say?"
___"Ah sayd, 'Coom on, Oi duhn't hev oll day to geht yoo oot of heyre,'"** said the dwarf slowly.
___"Well, I still can't understand you very well, but it seems you want to help me escape. I definitely won't say no to that," Galf said. "Let's go."
___"Guid," said the dwarf, and set about turning the mole-like creature around. When he and Galf had gotten into the hole, the dwarf dragged the stone on top of the mole-thing's large, flat head, and then gestured for Galf and himself to move further down the tunnel. Galf had tried to help lift the large stone, but he couldn't budge it.
___Along their way, to wherever they were going, the dwarf explained (usually several times over until Galf understood) that passages such as this had been built under all the dungeons in the entire realm over two hundred years ago. They were originally made in case of an uprising, which had seemed immanent at the time, as a means for imprisoned rulers to escape. However, they were now known only to the dwarves, the kings of Lewgalad having forgotten them in years of peace.
___All this was very entertaining, of course, but it didn't make the tunnel any less cramped, or the dwarf, mole, or Galf himself smell any better. And as they went, Galf couldn't help but wonder just what he was getting himself into.

Translations: *"Well, come on then, I haven't got all day to get you out of here."
**"I said, 'Come on, I don't have all day to get you out of here.'"

Jarvis stood in a clearing in his beloved forests as the strange Viking walked away. I wonder why he dislikes Forestmen, he thought. He must have a reason. He seems very reasonable. Jarv brought his hands to the sky and yelled, "Silvabestia!" He stood staring at the sky for a few minutes, his hands still outstretched to the heavens. Then, suddenly, a silver blur burst from the forest, and stopped abruptly in front of him. The creature was revealed to be a pure white horse, with silver antlers similar to a stag's, and silver stripes flowing all over its body in no single pattern. Jarvis lowered his arms and stroked the soft fur that covered the beast. It made a melodius humming noise as he spoke calmly to it. The beast was a silvabestia, the rarest forest creatures in the world. The Forestmen had their own military units assigned to protecting the Silvabestias. They possessed extremely fast reflexes and alertness, as well as healing abilities, so they did not really need the protection. They were only found in the Northern Forests, and the Elves of the area used them. Elves and silvabestias had a deep bond, and could communicate through their minds, like druids can with all creatures.

Location: King Peregrine's Castle, Falconia City, Falconia.

___As Accalia entered the great hall, a herald announced her to the king, "Presenting Her Majesty Queen Accalia Phaedra Archos-Gloria, monarch of the Black Knights." Turning to her, he added, "Welcome to Falconia, Your Majesty." He bowed, and exited the room.
___Accalia walked forward to the throne of King Peregrine, and curtseyed. He bowed his head and kissed her hand, and then asked her the reason for her visit. "I have need of assistance. It grieves me greatly to admit it, but my land is no longer safe," she said. "If someone is outcast from any land on the continent, they come to my isles for safe haven. Then they acquire ships, I know not how, and go raiding in the lands they once loved. Not only that, but they also steal from our own farms and villages. As a result, no ship of ours can safely trade anymore, as they will be driven away or sunken because they are mistaken for raiders. The navies of some of the southern countries have recently begun retaliating as well, and our villagers have had to flee to the cities for protection." Up until this point, the queen had kept herself composed, but now she broke down. "I-I don't know what to do!"
___Peregrine's face had been darkening as she spoke, and now he said, "I would send you soldiers to help you, but the army is marching to the Great Forest to fight the skeletons, and, I am afraid, that is more important matter for Falconia. I will consult with my cabinet, though, and see what can be done. Meanwhile, you are welcome to stay here as long as you like. My wife will show you to the apartments we have prepared for you, for we had news of your coming." So saying, the King of Falconia returned to his thoughts. His wife, who had been sitting next to him and listening, rose from her throne and guided Accalia to her rooms, consoling her along the way.

Jarvis said a few Druidic words and his backpack started to float in the air. He swung his foot up and over the silvabestia's back as it bowed down so he could mount it. Jarv carefully placed his hand on the head of the creature, and transferred his thoughts to it, to ask it to take them to Macholin. He felt it respond in his head that yes, it would do as he asked. It also told Jarvis that it was Savilos, a female silvabestia. He had cared for the silvabestias since he was a child, and he remembered that Savilos was one of his favourites. He had not ridden a silvabestia in a while, due to the druid academy and experimenting in his home with vine growth. He was glad to have a childhood friend with him now, on his first quest and adventure.

No, this isn't an April Fool's, I really am getting back into it.
“Ah… hey you, kiddo, draw your ba-sword!”

“Why?”

“JELLYBEAN”, Alcander shouted and the moment later Rasco drew his shiningly yellow sword. Galdrutt nodded to Alcander.

“Lead the way, boy, I´m starving.”
Immediately Rasco took off once again, bounding away into the darkness, his glowing sword a spark of light in the dark night. The two men stomped after him, stumbling about in the dark.

"Where does he get all that bloody energy from?" Galdrutt muttered.

"Same place he gets his annoying side - somewhere endless..." Alcander replied glumly as he sifted through the plants, keeping a tight hand on his horse.

Then Galdrutt's axe got hooked on some tough plants and thanks to the slippery stains from the fiasco with the berries he tumbled forward onto the spiky undergrowth. Uttering some words I won't repeat here, he got up again. When he saw the light coming from Rasco as he zoomed back towards him, he seriously considered beheading the clown on the spot. Not that he got the chance to, of course.

"Hurry up, you slowpokes! This isn't a walk in the park, we have to be there in time! I've already been there and back twice!" the Banterian called in an irritatingly playful tone.

"Instead of bananas and octagons, how about you try carrying some of this?!" Galdrutt bellowed, launching his lion shield at the nearby green knight. Rasco gave a squeal of surprise and sprang backwards, as the shield crashed into the foliage somewhere.

Galdrutt was furious. "You get that right now!" he roared.

Rasco struck a ridiculously indignant pose, shrieking, "Why should I? It's your shield and you threw it at me!"

"Because you're the most damned patronising, irritating...animal-jellybean person I've ever met. Now get it!"

Rasco literally took annoyance to another level as he danced about in the trees above. "Temper, temper, temper! Keep your boiling mind down - don't want to burn the food now, do we?!" He tried to sound offended, but his sniggering was obvious to Galdrutt. And it wasn't helping. Neither was the mention of hot food.

Galdrutt clumsily ran forward with a shout and started hacking aimlessly and ineffectively at the tree that Rasco was standing at. He was fuming with anger, despite the chilly air. The laughing knight taunted him by hovering just out of reach and laughing non-stop."

"No wonder you're jobless - you can't even be a good lumberjack!" he called.

In his anger, Galdrutt tripped on something - his own shield. He fell onto it and landed on his back. Suddenly he gave a gasp of surprise. Above him stood a tall dark figure with a dragon-emblazoned shield. His rage gave way to fright. Galdrutt quickly unsheathed his sword and prepared to lunge upwards when the figure stepped into the dim moonlight. It was Alcander. The Black Knight rolled his eyes.

"Stop trying to make banana-splits in the dark and come on - the castle's just round the corner. I've just seen it."

Galdrutt felt very stupid, but he didn't want to show it and give Rasco the satisfaction. "What were you doing, creeping up like that?! Trying to give me a heart attack!?" he snapped, though

Alcander glanced at Galdrutt, sprawled across his shield in a patch of ferns with a giggling knight hanging just above him, and raised his eyebrow at the Royal Knight, ask if to ask, You're calling my behaviour weird?. Galdrutt swore and collected himself. "Come on, then!" he said, brushing past Alcander, who quickly followed. They turned around a clump of trees, collecting Alcander's patient horse, and suddenly opened into a huge clearing, with a large castle filling most of the rough green land. In the dark, the castle appeared to be made of stone, but many plants and trees were growing around and even onto it, by the look of it. There was bright yellow light seeping out from it's windows and doors, and the noise of people could be heard distantly. Galdrutt felt his bad mood leaving; at least they were approaching somewhere warm and light.

Rasco gave one last mad giggle as he took off towards his home. As Alcander and Galdrutt trudged after him, the green knight called:

"I hope you'll be able to pay for all this, knights!"

Galdrutt couldn't rise above it. "After the ordeal you've put me through, I should be entitled to a free stay for all Megablocks eternity!"

Alcander looked towards the castle gate and the guards who walked forward to greet them, with Rasco chattering endlessly to them. "Well, he may be a bumbling lunatic, but if he can get us some grub I can tolerate him." Alcander whispered.

Galdrutt was beyond humour by then. "I can tolerate him...just."

Arrows flying bye his face, and the battle cries of the Kings army close behind him Mingrim took cover behind a tree, and quickly noched an arrow to his bow. The Forestmen were getting smaller everyday. Although their amazing skill in combat, the sheer force of the Kings army was wearing them thin. The Kings latest campain drove right to the heart of the forest mens land. The forest men were inflicting huge losses on the enemys forces, but everday their army seemed to grow larger....and younger. Mingrim smoothly notched another arrow to his bow, and shot two footmen killing them instantly. The fight was near from over.

It had been a miserably long week as the caravan traveled through Forestmen territory.

More than once Arthur, Marcus, and Gerodal had to fight off brigands of varying skill.

On the seventh day of traveling, the caravan broke out of the forest and onto a large flat plain. To the left of the caravan, a road was in clear evidence.

"I hope they give us our rightful payment when we get to the sea," Gerodal muttered under his breath, in his deep gravely voice.

"Aw, come on Sir, it wasn't that bad. Besides we got two pints of ale a night as part of our rations," Marcus stated in an optimistic tone.

"Not that bad! More than once I had to threaten the cook with bodily harm because he refused to give me my second pint!" Gerodal exclaimed, working himself up in a rage, "That blasted bugle boy was playing pranks on me whenever I wasn't watching! The Forestmen themselves attacked us multiple times, the Vikings tried to kill us and take the goods, and above all else!" Geodal was bellowing and drawing peoples attention at this point, "I haven't been able to get a good nights sleep because of those twice be Megablocked , blundering night guards!" Gerodal choose a few other strong oaths to describe how blundering the night guards were, which should never be heard be young or old.

After a few more minutes of listening to their commander befoul the air, Marcus and Arthur decided to check on their equipment which was stowed in the wagon in front of them.

After grimly retreating, Mingrim and the remnants of the defending force were in trouble. The enemy had more troops than ever before and were pushing them back. Something had to be done. The forest men had loose ties to the Black Falcons some said. It was mingrims job to find if that was true. So at dawn tommorow Mingrim would set out to seek out the black falcons.

As he oiled his armor that night, Sir Marcus Bulor thought he saw someone creeping towards the caravan owners tent. Wondering who else could be awake besides the night guards, Marcus followed the shadowy figure, sword sheathed so as not to give away his position.

As he got closer, Marcus noticed that the figure was taller and far more muscular than any mainland minifig he had ever heard of.

Marcus remained motionless, watching the figure watch the bosses tent. As Marcus was watching, the figure drew an ax of unbelievable size from underneath a heavy cloak.

The figure stood up and calmly walked towards the tent. One of the guards outside the tent noticed the figure and drew his sword making sure the giant of a fig saw the blade and said in a commanding voice, "Who are you and what do you wan-" that was as far as the guard got because just then the giant fig smashed his ax through the guards skull, splitting it clean in half.

It was at this moment that Marcus decided to stop the massive fig. Once he stepped out of the shadows, Marcus drew his sword and called out to the enormous fig saying, "I think that you should fight an opponent of equal skill, such as myself. What do you say to that stranger?"

The huge fig turned on the spot. It was the first clear view of the figs face that Marcus had gotten. The fig was obviously a Viking warrior from the length of his beard and the strain that his muscularframe put on his leather shirt.

"You? My equal in battle? Don't make me laugh," the Viking warrior exclaimed, shaking in mirth.

"What? You doubt my skill with a sword? Even though I may not look like I'm very experienced, I've probably killed more men than you've talked with," Marcus bragged, trying to goad the Norsemen into a rage.

The brags had the desired effect in that the Viking let out a roar, awakening the whole camp. What Marcus hadn't been expecting was for the Norsemen to run out of the camp, crying.

Location: That inn on the Wolfpack border.

As he sat at a table in the dingy inn near his home in Wolfpack territory, Mavvith wondered what to do next. He had just returned from a scouting expedition, but had not received any new commands... "Eh, mayhaps I'll go get another drink.", he thought to himself. He was about to get up, when a hand dropped firmly on his shoulder. "Ya reddy fer a neuw joub', Mavv'?" a voice whispered. Mavvith knew that voice: Gragh Holtback, a fellow Wolfpack man-at-arms, and his contact for any new jobs. "Aye, I was just thinkin' along those lines... 'Agh'." "Sarree, Mavvith" replied Gragh, stressing the full name, "Nuo neecknuames thaen?" Mavvith stood up from his seat. "Aye, 'twould be appreciated."
They left the inn in silence...

Location:Somewhere in Wolfpack territory.

Mavvith walked along the road and grinned as he tossed a bag of gold from one hand to the other.''Ah, this is the life'', he proclaimed, and grinned again. It had been an easy job, just taking care of some pesky rival, but it had put gold in his pocket, and for that he was happy. He grumbled as he again felt a twitch of pain in his side. The arrow wound there was making him considerably less happy, admittedly. 'Ah, well, I just need some rest and I'll be fine.', he thought to himself.

He woke up hours later, lying on the ground, with no money, no rest, and only the clothes on his back.
"Gnnnfh... Ah, megablockin' bandits even took my sword 'n' shield! Whatever happened to honour among thieves...", he asked rhetorically.

Sorry to break the illusion, but A: Am I the only one still doing this?; B: I'm making the Dark Forestmen robbers, like Wolfpack, and put a few in WP territory. Hope that's okay.; C: There might be some grammatical errors, because my spellcheck was at work.
Location: Wolfpack Forest

"Eh, now what?" Thought Mavvith, as he lay on the road. He rolled over... and froze. Footprints! He got up, and walked along the prints. They led into the woods, toward a waterfall and some ruins. Mavvith recognized it as a traditional Wolfpack hideout! He crept toward the falls, careful not to step on anything noisy, and went right up to the cascading water, where there would of course be a hidden entrance. Striding forward...

He walked straight into a wall.
