Hey Houstonians!

Howdy!

If anyone out there lives in or around Houston and would like to participate in future TexLUG or TexLUG - Houston meetings, I've created a yahoo group for TexLUG Houston discussion.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/texlug-houston/

Of course you can always join the main TexLUG mailing list on the TexLUG website.

Nuts! Houston, TX doesn't happen to be on the eastern side of Oregon does it?

...

Man, I wish there was enough interest over here to have a LUG, that might have LUG meetings...

This is kind of a newbie question but is the TexLug held every year? And is it always held in Houston?

TexLUG is the group (or club), not an event inandof itself. Greater TexLUG, the statewide entity, usually trys to have two events per year. Local chapters, like TexLUG Houston, like to have more frequent meetings even if they were just showing up at a restaurant and hanging out.

Currently TexLUG Houston has become very quiet and the number of active members has dwindled - I'm hoping we can change that.
