Fana'Briques 2010

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

It's fest season. This past weekend was Fana'Briques, an AFOL gathering in Rosheim, France. According to RailBricks, last year there were 3700 visitors to see displays by 60 AFOLs from a number of European nations. No word on the total number of attendees this year. Anyway, some galleries are starting to appear:

BTW, I don't remember who built this mountaintop monastery, which has been around for a few years. I remember seeing it in galleries from other European fests, but is there a full gallery by the builder somewhere?

This is a great display. I particularly like the columns of samurai soldiers. I don't think I've ever seen so many of them in one place.

-> Queribus castle, by Pierre Charles, as you already saw at LEGOWorld 2009, Zwolle.

-> The whole Castle layout was made by members of MBFR (German group)

-> The church was built by Daniela Drost (more about her in BrickJournal, issue 4 volume 2)

-> By Eric Letang. It is inspired by a MOC from HKLUG

-> This Pirates island was made by Mickael Eymann, who is new into the AFOL community. He's planning to bring it at LEGOWorld 2010, Zwolle.
