Giant verision of the Yellow Castle

The Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio has been running a 8 month LEGO celebration in three phases. The exhibit is called "Build it." It is currently in a 9 day phase two called "Explore it."

Paul Janssen has created a giant version of the beloved Yellow Castle.

If you are near Cleveland from now until Labor Day, it is very worth checking out. I will get better pictures of it and post them.

In this folder you will find several shots of this giant Yellow Castle.

You can't tell but...he built the giant bricks and plates, then built the castle with those. In person, it is really quite awesome.

That is an impressively huge amount of yellow brick..... All the minifig sculpting is well done, and the shield designs, too.
