Grant County, OR Fair

Post by wunztwice »

Hello, I was just curious if anyone would be interested in doing a display at the Grant County Fair. It's held in John Day, Oregon in mid August. (as a side it's the longest continually running fair in Oregon)

John Day is located in the very middle of the Eastern Half of Oregon. This is just to see if there is anyone interested in this as a preliminary deal. I will have to check with the fair office about any details, but figured I would see if anyone would even be willing.

Thanks for checking this out!

Nice idea to post that here ~

Does this mean you'll be going as well? Although it is impossible for me, I'd love to see the pics. :)

Yes, I will be heaily involved, and be the communication line between CC and the fair board. I will also have some sections for the castle, but I am not sure if I will actually be able to attend. I'm a wildland firefighter during the summer, so I can always be called away.

if anyone is interested please let me know in this thread and/or PM. Thanks again!

Seeing as how the forums went down for a while, I am reposting this in hopes of some responces. If anyone would like to help with a CC display at the Grant County Fair. I would love to have anyone come over and actually meet you in person. Most of the LEGO models shown are by kids and don't hold much attention. It would be awsome to show some true LEGO potoential! Let me know, either by posting here or PMing me.

THanks everyone, I hope some of you can make it.

Again, the dates are ussually something like the 18th or so of August.
