Great thanks for that site, it seems to be interesting (I just look in categories and the images) and full of details for satisfying both historical curiosity and architectural questions. Maybe hard fans of castles will not learn lot of things, but for the other ones it could be a great ressource. Keep in my favorites. Oh, and the Cathar castles" category looks really big and I'm happy to see that it's not only speaking about the famous castles (Quéribus, Puylaurens, Foix or Peyrepertuse).

Glad this thread was mined as I don't recall if I'd read it but there's multiple truckloads of info there. For too much to read during a lunch break at work!
