Medieval Peasant Houses

When I build, I try to use historical buildings as the basis for my work. Not that I have anything against fantasy castles--I indeed enjoy them--but rather than start with something directly out of my imagination, I try to start with something based in history. For anyone wanting to do authentic recreations (or as authentic as one can get with Legos), this is even more important.
To that end, I came across an article on cruck houses in midland England the other day and wanted to share this with you all. Hopefully you can find it as inspirational and useful as I did. It gives some good diagrams, descriptions of how the insides out houses were set up, and some dimensions, as well as some history including job descriptions.
