briklink shops

Post by Merlin of Lego »

I am in need of openining a bricklink store to pay for a collection that I am buying. How much do you folks make a month in your shops. I know that this will vary base on size of stores but I need some estimates.

About $150.00 give or take $25.00, summer is slower for orders. Oct.- Dec. much higher. I should mention that I have a low inventory and I tend to sell my store inventory whole about every two months. I always have a deal on it. I only get about 4 - 5 orders a month. If you have a bigger inventory, you'll get more orders. Troy probably won't tell you what he makes, the tax man might be watching.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

I think the bigger question is it really worth it to break down the sets and have to sort through them for orders, or just sell the sets whole?

I hardly sell anything in my store. I probably get 1-3 sales per month, and the largest one has been about $8.
