If you're after the whole thing you can get it here. The same if you want specific parts like hulls.

Hello!
What does Admin pay you for advertising BrickLink whenever you get the chance to do it?

However, the desperated guy wants to pay $50-$60 for it, not $98 ore more.

I`m desprate!!
Well, yes, but it's a sealed set and it will fetch more than $50-60 (It's probably going up on eBay today if I can find the time).

The key to getting things for the price you want on eBay is being patient, doing searches, sometimes under obscure terms, and be willing to get it without a box.

I wish I was being paid. But I do freely (because) I don't wanna see people getting desperate for Lego and asking around rather than just go into a place where Lego is being sold.

Anyhow, I do the same for Classic-Castle.com whenever I meet a wandering Castle fan in BrickLink, or any other Lego site and I direct them to coming here.

BTW, Legoguy2, I don't think anyone will sell a $89.99 set for 2/3 the MSRP price unless they are a non-Lego fan or they are on crack. Another possibility is if they are people who just wants to get a little money from something they no longer view as useful/valuable/important.

Just try BrickLink, you can try negotiating with some sellers for a trade, if you do not wish to do a purchase. BTW, 99% of the items for sale on BL are straight purchases, rarely are there any auctions. IMO, its better to do a straight purchase than an auction.

Watch Evilbay, you might chance upon one that is used that might go for that price. I have seen enough MISB RBR out there that you might be able to find one used for the price you have in mind. Bricklink will always be more expensive for sets, sellers know that they could make an eventual sale, so they are in no hurry to part with sets at cheap prices. Evilbay is a good place for used stuff, you can sometimes find things very cheaply. Good luck :D

bid on it anyways, and give a "fair offer".
There's a good chance someone will still snip it,
but at least its better than letting it walk for cheap...

You most likely will lose on eBay when bidding that early. But be assured there will be other bargains in the future when you will be able to place a winning bid. The Red Beard Runner was on retail quite recently so it is not at all a rare set.
