I will pay for the order for now. I will bill you all when it arrives at my house so I can figure out what it will cost to ship to you.
Thanks,
-Aidan
PS. Sorry Barbapple, we could not wait and be certain that these amazing deals would last. As it was the one day wait meant a couple of us lost out on our Black Falcons

I think I would like to be involved in the next big order as I need alot of castle minifig stuff etc.. and this looks like the best way to get it. Plus, I joined the forum too late so I missed this one!

Sounds great!!! I only got a few things this time round (timing issues, not money), so I'll probably be interested in getting in on this.wlister wrote:If this store continues to be stocked with KKII stuff, I will be making an order in Mid-October and I would be able to offer the same deal as Aidan.
I'd look out wlister.... you may have this shopping trip all filled up before you even start at this rate...

Tell you guys what, send me an estimate of how many lots you are planning and what quantities and so I can be better preared for it. To be fair I'd like to see the maximum unique lots a single person can have be 5. You can always add to someone elses lot, but only pick 5 individual items. As with Aiden, this will be first come, first serve, so I have a small list started already. Those hoping to reserve space should PM me to cut down on off topic posts to Aiden's thread.
I will write to confirm you are on the list once you PM me.
So far I have 6 people who have mentioned they may want in on the order. I have 2 who need to confirm they want to reserve space. Once they confirm, this order will be full of reserved spaces. When the order is made, I will put out a master list of unique lots other people can add to.

So...if the total ($568.50) is X and my order was Y and shipping from your place to my place is Z then total shipping would be:Aidan wrote:I will charge you actual cost of parts plus the actual cost to ship it from me to you, plus a portion of the $25 shipping. I will divide the $25 shipping up based on your dollar total of the total order.
For instance if the total is $400 and your order was $40 you would pay 10% of the $25, or $2.50. It is confusing, but I think it is fair.
The total order was $568.50 so you all should able to figure out your % of the $25 Denmark shipping.
X / Y + Z = TOTAL SHIPPING
(X devided by Y plus Z equals total shipping)
or does my algerbra stink?

Your algebra works perfectly, but to my mind it stinks. Grade 12 doesn't start for another week and a half yet. I hate to say it, but your algebra stinks.
Y / X * 25 + Z = total shipping
Y / X will give you your percentage of the order. Multiplying the percentage by $25 will give you the amount of the Denmark shipping you have to pay.
If you ordered any lots beyond the first 35, you will add a dollar surcharge for each of those too.

Actually your algebra is wrong . In your equation if the total order was $568, and your total was $10, and shipping to your house was $3, you would owe 568/10 + 3 or $59.8Lord_Of_The_LEGO wrote:[So...if the total ($568.50) is X and my order was Y and shipping from your place to my place is Z then total shipping would be:

The actual equation is, using your variables, ((Y/X)25)+Z.
Or using the numbers from my example;
((10/568)25) + 3 which equals a more reasonable $3.44.
Another way to think of it; the $10 order is 1.85% of the total order. Therefore they pay 1.85% of the $25 shipping. Which is $0.44.
OK, class dismissed.

So... there is a sale on Bricks4You right now, and most of the items I purchased are on sale right now. :/
On the bright side, some of the items I ordered are completely sold out right now, so I'm glad we ordered when we did.
I'm almost tempted to place another order to get some of the items I left off of the last order...

The pre-order I had arranged is now full of reserved lots. Once the people involved have made their selections, I may put out a "Master List" and allow for a few more additions, it will depend on how much the order total is. My CC can only hold so much. A reminder that this pre-order arrangement is for Mid-October, so we have a lot of time to mull over our decisions.

Aiden, how many more weeks until the order you made arrives?
