Want to BORROW

Yup, you read that right. I'm looking for some pieces to try a doodle (proof of concept) of an idea swimming in my head. But before I take the road of purchasing these parts, I want to be sure my idea will work. So I'd like to borrow them for a few weeks.

I'm looking for 4-8 pieces each for the following:

Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Clip Horizontal on End

Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Clip on Top

Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Handle on End - Closed Ends

Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Clips Horizontal

Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Handle on Side - Closed Ends

Colours don't matter. Any & all are fine.

Hopefully, these can nicely fit into a small padded envelope to save of postage. If you live in Canada or the US, I can return them with extra stamps to compensate for your cost of mailing.

I think I have a decent (if very occasional) BST reputation on this site. If anyone wants to chime in with a character reference, you are most welcome to do that!

Can't do it in LDD?

I'm not sure how LDD works nowadays, but when it was first released and I tried using it, it was a pain to do anything other than a standard connection.

Yes, you can not lean, slide, snap, or otherwise connect pieces outside of the stud system as far as I know. Makes it really frustrating when trying to design w/ advanced techniques.

I vouch for footsteps' reputation! I've known him for years and he is extremely trustworthy.

I have known footsteps for fewer years, but he's a great guy in my opinion too. That's why I mailed an envelope yesterday containing eight of each piece he requested. I'm curious to see what the project is that he has in mind. :)

The parts arrived today. Thanks, Handar.

Now the pressure is on to deliver! :o
