Every man for himself!

That's the great thing about drafts; everyone has their own personal preference so a lot of people get what they want
As long as you don't go into it worried about "making your money back", you'll have a lot of fun and walk away with piles of useful parts for whatever your specific needs/wants are

FYI, I have 4 sets in-hand and am going to start sorting this evening. The other 4 will be here tomorrow. I'm hoping to have everything sorted and ready to go by the 5th.
Are we in agreement on splitting the orc fig parts and helms into two lots each and keeping the rest of the piles intact? If so, I can generate the draft order.

Seconded.
I may not be available until 07 JUL, though, which would be your Saturday evening.

I'm also in favor of the proposed lot breakdown. Thanks for all the work you've put into this AK

No problem, guys.
It is quite a bit of work to buy the sets, sort everything, run the draft, and then mail all of the packages, and while I enjoy it, maybe next time we'll run things so that whoever hosts the draft get's his set paid for by the other participants as sort of a reward for all of the work that's involved. If you had 10 people drafting a $30 set, that's only a little more than $3 each from the 9 other people, which I wouldn't be opposed to chipping in for whoever does the next one (if it's not me).
Just something to ponder for next time. I'm not complaining

I agree AK. In the meantime perhaps participants should mail AK a "care package" for the work he has put into this

Thanks Sschmidt, but no need for any compensation. I knew what I was getting myself into when I started this

Draft order has been set!
Drumroll.................
AK_Brickster 8
Soccerkid6 3
Eklund 4
Forestboy 6
SSchmidt 1
RichardAM 5
StrongBad 2
Bronx 7
So, reorganizing into proper order:
Sschmidt - 1 (an excellent "push gift"!)
StrongBad - 2
Soccerkid6 - 3
Eklund - 4
RichardAM - 5
Forestboy - 6
Bronx - 7
AK_Brickster - 8 (how the heck did THAT happen!?
)
I'm setting up a private photo on Flickr that I found online of piles of bricks. I thought we should do a "practice run" to see if there are any problems with the process I have in mind for picking lots.
Practice Draft by
AK_Brickster, on Flickr
(RichardAM and Bronx, do you guys have Flickr accounts? You'll need them so I can add you to the private photo)

I do, but it's currently inactive atm. I'll find the login details and get it set up properly again tomorrow

An excellent push gift.
Ha!
Still trying to decide how good #1 pick is, when factored with pick 16.
This will be fun though!
