A picture I drew

Post by Elephant Knight »

Hello,

I drew this picture because I was bored. It is a portrait of my Star Wars SigFig. (Don't worry, I am drawing a castle one next.)

Comments and critsicm welcome.

Pretty cool. My suggestion is to add more values and do some shading rather than color each side a solid shade of the hue.

Sweet! One neat thing you could do that wouldn't even require any further illustration at all would be to increase the color saturation using a photo-editing program. (If you have one.) That would make your colored pencil image look richer and more vibrant without changing the actual image at all.

Good dimension in the image and great looking figure presence. Keep up the excellent work! :)

Don't think I have any program like that. I might check that out though.

Cool. Just for future reference, you should make the head a little bigger.

I'm all up for art, ElKnight, but I prefer more realism. It looks good for a lego, though.

You know, Danielas...not to sound mean, but it almost seems like it would take more time to spell everything wrong than right...do you really have that big of a spelling problem?
May the blessing of the Lord be upon you. <><

Elephant Knight, as Lord Doom suggested some photo editing program would be a relatively low-effort and surefire way to make certain parts darker and others lighter. There's a lot of free software on the internet that doesn't need much time to get into. It's always worth a try :)

Personally, I like the pencil crayon look, and besides, I have never been great at editing stuff.
