Site Redesign

Post by BuilderQ »

I've been updating the design of my website, http://builderq.50webs.com, to incorporate a menu bar, and greater use of javascript and css.

While it now has frames, a much-maligned element, I've found that javascript can overcome some of the problems common to such a design. For example, I can create links to, or bookmark, the frameset containing any page, e.g. http://builderq.50webs.com/index.html?links.html&1 or http://builderq.50webs.com/index.html?a ... gon.html&1.

On the downside, if you don't have javascript enabled you won't be able to see much.

As I've done most of my testing in Internet Explorer, I'm not sure how well it will display in other browsers, so let me know. Any comments welcome.
