Hi Ayden,

This topic belongs in publishing because it is about creating a LEGO website. I will move it there.

I suggest checking out w3schools, a great website for learning html. Html is not that hard and it would be best to learn it yourself. That way, you can make your site the way you want it. In addition, it is unlikely that others will want to program a site for you.

Yes, he can be trusted. If you want to know more about him, you can talk to him on Chat. The forum rules prohibit him from posting on the forum until he is 13, but there is no age restriction in Chat.

Ayden,

HTML is very simple if you are not trying to do lots of frames or other bells and whistles. What I would suggest is check out different sites and, in your browser, choose "view source". This will show you the raw html for the web page you are looking at. Go back and forth from the html to the page, and see how the different coding correlates to what you see on the screen. For a simple page, all you really need to learn is how to add links and images.

Here, check out the source code for this page on my site:
http://www.ozbricks.com/bricktales/lotr ... 09-01.html
It's very simple--codes for spacing, images, links, and fonts--nothing too complex.
The key, IMO, is to start simple. Later on you can try to do more complex page layouts.

Bruce is correct on this point, start off simple so you can get all of your material up, then upgrade as you learn more advanced web programming. The last thing you want is a website that starts out great, but becomes too overwhelming, and never gets finished.

If you would like help with it, pm me with your ideas and I'll try to assist you in any way I can. I am a pretty busy person, but if you don't have something that is too off the wall, I should be able to help.
