Free web hosting sites?

Post by Graynar »

Hey guys.

I'm back again. I would like to make my own web site, like Sava's Kingdom of Ikros.(awsome site) And I was wondering if some one could recomend a free web hosting site.

I've been having a lot of trouble with Maj and Brickshelf so I can't use any of those. And I don't trust ones off google.

Does any one know of any? I would really like to know.

www.freewebs,com is a decent site. It's free and all that, but unfortunately it limits how many files you can upload and how many pages your site can have.

Hope this helps.

Thats true about freewebs. I used it for a little while, but as my site grew I ran out of room. BuilderQ mentioned http://www.50webs.com to me, and it's worked great for me. Lots of storage space, easy to use interface. No problems yet with that one.
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.

I know it's too late, but Epowerservers is what my brother uses to host his site, and I will be using it too. It is free, and if you want your own domain name, you can get it for $10.

Hey,

What problems are you having with Brickshelf and Maj? Often times some of the free services are problematic if you're storing the images there, but if you are only storing the html there and pulling the images off of Brickshelf they're not so bad.

It's strange, I never recieve a confirmation email from them. But I have the same email there as I do here.

I'm glad Flickr worked.
