Drawings and fan art

Post by Koenig_Artus »

as my main interest is arts (painting and drawing) i had fun to do some drawing about lego

first there are some artworks about the official factions:

Well, i tried to let them look like real people, and not like minifigs. I hope you recognise the factions(well i mean the Black falcons fortress and the dragon master)

I got this idea, because many people say the dragon masters are not a bit authentic. blah-all you need is fantasy

p.s. there has also been a wolfpackman but i soaked coffee over it, so i guess i have to redo it

I also did some drawings of lego-parts

WOW! That drawing of the Black Falcon's Fortress looks completely awesome! You really get across the idea Lego wanted with that set - a castle with a Tudor-style keep.

Ditto on that. I'm also amazed by your "real person" concept of the Black Falcon and Dragon Master. They look great!

Keep it up!

The way you rendered the Dragon Master's helmet is great!

Very nice idea to take them and render them as humans rather than 'figs. I'm a noted Dragon Masters disliker (hate is too strong a word) and I like your rendition. Keep drawing and let's see more!
Redwine the Ribald: Stare long enough into the abyss...
Two-Tonic Tippler: ...and you spit into it.

I think you need a little work on the bodies, but your faces are wonderful! You have a great sense of feeling and emotion in the lines, and the detail is just perfect to convey it. The bodies..... I'd suggest going to a comic or art store and picking up some books that have photos of human models. It will help you immensely in getting the proper shapes for whatever movement you're depicting.

I have similar problems with my art, but I think your faces are MUCH beter than mine.

I agree with Recluce. The bodies need some work, but your faces and amount of detail is superb. :D

Can't wait to see more!
