Hi all,
I've just created a Classic-Castle group on Flickr. It's an open group so go ahead and join. If you're not on Flickr yet, well, what are you waiting for?

Re: Classic-Castle Flickr group
I'll tell you. I don't want the limitations of a free account, and I'm too cheap to pay the $20 upgrade fee.Sibley wrote:If you're not on Flickr yet, well, what are you waiting for?
But this might be an incentive to join. I mean, could always just have one pic of something with a link to a Brickshelf folder...

Learning French.
Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".
I'm a Pumpkin.

Great! I just signed up.
Question: How do you add photos to the pool? Just curious.

But Flickr automatically resizes images, so you won't find the huge take-forever-to-load pics that Brickshelf is plagued with.
All in all I think the benefits outway the costs: selective viewing, notes, groups, and the community aspect. Like I said earlier, I think Flickr and Brickshelf work excellently in tandem.

I'm got a pretty screwed up system of Lego MOC hosting, though nowadays I usually upload to Flickr and then I resize them a while later and put them on Brickshelf.
The problem is is that i've got a lot of "conventional" photography in my account, so I don't want a complete Lego takeover- I guess i'd like them both seperate.
I've got some stuff up though, so i'll join.
