Story Update

Post by venvorskar »

I have decided not to write the Tower of Ancyron, because it made little sense and none of the chapters had any connection whatsoever with each other. All in all it was a hastily formed tale with little thought put into it.
However, I am going to write an epic called the Unofficial Minifig Adventures. The first book in this epic is entitled: The Black Forest. Chapter 1 is due for release in the first week of June. I hope you have not all given up on me because of the Tower of Ancyron, and I realy think this will be better. Here is a sneak preview to rouse your interest.

The picture looks cool. I really like the green sword. :)

Thank you. I have written Chapter 1, as well as the plotline; and I am now buying some of the parts I need to illustrate it.

Wouldn't it be a little odd to have star wars and medieval stuff together?

It seems like a long time to wait for parts. You should have picked a faster store.

What exactly are you saying? If you are reffering to my story, it has nothing Star Wars in it. As for the parts, they have arrived, but I am very busy with school. I hope to have the illustrations done soon, but there is the problem of large shots. If I take a wide angle picture, sometimes I have bits of my table showing, which, of course, I don't want. If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me.

Go to a room without a table! That, or you could drape the are around the MOC with a white tablecloth or something...

If possible, consider buying a huge baseplate at a local toy store (or maybe Wal Mart or something)... I think that they are somewhat cheap, and very useful for addressing this (annoying) problem.

Other than that, consider just having more close-ups, or taking a big picture and cropping it where needed to trim out the table/grass/"stuff".

EDIT>> Also, if you really wanted to go all out, you could use a background (perhaps a huge white paper, or cardboard) and do Kevin Hall's tips
