The Return of Castle in 2007 (?)
These prototypes look amazing. If this is what is going to come out, I'd be happy. They look like the sets I never had. I barely have any castle lego besides KK2. This would give me something to build on. A decent close-enough to being a Classic-castle army. The crown heraldry is a lot better than monkeys and jellybeans. Hopefully they'll keep it this way.

*groan* I don't want to wait half a year for these...Recluce wrote:While I'd love an early 2007 release I don't see it happening. I think mid-summer is much more likely. Either way, if show @ home put up all the sets online for pre-sale right now I'd be whipping out the plastic. I'll be purchasing at least one of each of these sets. They look awesome and really spark some creativity that I'm to explore.
Ben, Rayhawk, anyone 'in the know'...when do these sets come out?
- Matt
For the first time... in a very long time. I may just buy every set associated with this line.... Scratch that. I may buy more than just every set associated.
Mmm.. skeletal armies that don't have wave-in-the-air- arms.

Sorry Matt, but LEGO Ambassadors can not comment on possible future products, product release dates, etc unless we are given permission.Sir Kohran wrote: *groan* I don't want to wait half a year for these...

It looks like a new grill, I think. It's hard to tell, though, without a better picture.James wrote:http://shop.scandimex.cz/detailPopUp.as ... 1185&obr=1 is that a new grille on the back right hand tower or a pair of gates? I can't quite tell

I must say that this is definitely an improvement on the KKII. However, I think that things can get better. I would equate this as a world-class athlete (being the old LEGO), suffering a debilitating injury (KKII), and now going through rehab (potential new castle line). Let's hope he makes a full recovery!

He already has. In 2005 and last year, I think we got some of the best Castle sets ever - 8877, 7019, 8813, the chess sets and 10176 were all very impressive and well-designed sets with good minifigs, IMO. I think the wounds caused by the Fright Knights and possibly KK1/KK2.1 have already been healed, and this grand new Castle line is just continuing the brilliance. Here's to a good future for Castle!Spongey wrote:I must say that this is definitely an improvement on the KKII. However, I think that things can get better. Brickset entry:

I don't know if this is an official "independant" source or the pic from
the Czech website. Just thought I would add another place to see the
future castle set.
Thanks,
Ben M.
