New BrikWars painting: Gryphon Rider
New BrikWars painting: Gryphon Rider
I wasn't sure quite which forum to put this in, but I just finished a new desktop painting for BrikWars today and thought it'd have a special castley appeal for everybody. (That is, as long as you don't begrudge the Buckbeak figure for slumming around in the Harry Potter line instead of in Castle where he belongs!)

Have no fear, this is the place to show off shiny desktop wallpaper all right. Kinda reminds me of the Emperor of a certain Fanstasy faction who always ride on a Griffon to war.
Oh, did I mention before I am envious of your illustration slill? No? Well, I am envious of your illustration skill.

Mike, you never cease to amaze with your illustrations...beautiful! I just set it as my background, replacing the former BrikWars B&W version. Thanks for sharing!

That is just beautiful. If I had my own computer I would consider a great deal about puting it as my back drop. Very good job. Now I wish lego would paint a buckbeak in these colors...

G’day Mike
This latest illustration of yours would have to be your best work yet. I think the colours you used are superb, and your style is very unique. You certainly know when you are looking at a “Rayhawk” piece of art. This illustration looks “cleaner” than your previous work, is that because you are using a more digital approach. This would look very impressive as a mural in child’s (or Adult) room.
Thanks for the high res images.

Ah heck, why not:Recluse wrote:I was wondering how much trouble it would be for you to recolor this piece to be red and gold?

I was just looking at it again, and am I correct in saying that his shield is the new shield for the 2007 Castle line?
