Castles, South of France

Post by Sir_Marcellus »

Hello!

I took a trip to France over the summer, and wondering if anybody has seen one or both of these castles:

1. Carcasonne. People might know this one. On the outside, it's a wonderful castle, but inside, it's a tourist attraction. I was hoping for a reconstruction of a meieval village, but got a t-shirt shop and torture museum instead.

2. I don't know the name of this castle, but it was in the city of Perpignan, near the Mediterranean. It was wonderful! A restored castle with everything, including a fully-furnished chapel and . . . . partially-furnished Great Hall. The most fake things were the soda machine and plastic green chairs outside.

Do you have any photos of these castles? Or better still have you constructed them from Lego.?

Its highly unlikely that he will reply, since he hasn't posted here for almost two years.
