have you long wanted to make a legolas but have no way to make his excellent figthing knives.
Fear no longer cause i have a perfect idea
here is the answer
i have just used normal pirate sabers and cut off the hand protecting piece.
Please tell me what you think about it

Good idea, wouldn't want to cut up those old parts though.

sorry to answer for Erikut, but

Guess what, I've done that before too! I haven't seen LoTR, though, and failed to make the connection. Another thing that could be done is to carve down the blade to make a dagger.

Sorry to bring up an old topic; I have recently moved and just got the internet up at the new place. But in reply to Mr. D, I have done that, and am realy pleased with the results.

Those are cool, but I don't really want to cut up any of my pieces (although I may eventually get to that point...).
And I know this is really off-topic, but Legolas only had one knife in the book.

their not shiny, its just my cam.

I tried making them and screwed up but they look more battle scarred with scratch marks. I'll post them and you can laugh your heads off at my inability with a hobby knife

ok first of all i did really bite them off
(hurt my teeth) and second i domt have any good cam just a webcam so the pics arnt any good
