hmmm looks like i am going to buy the entire line indeed. 7093 was supposed to be the set I will pass, but the lady is really too great an asset to the collection of lego medieval women to pass up on. Argh. Hopefully it goes on sale :)

The latest round of photos from Nurenburg makes me very happy. I thought TLG had entirely given up on civilians outside of the town theme.

One maiden, though only one, statistically represents an infinity percent increase in non-military minifigs in castle sets since KKII started.

Wow. The hair and new torso and the princess and the euro armor and old visors...

Can't wait :D

EDIT:
Old swords, round shields, good looking faction, lots of figures...

New female hair, new (I'll assume) double-sided female head, new female torso. Aaaaaaaaaaaa!!! *head explodes*

I'm astonished! That's pretty much all I can say, she's been a long time coming and she is finally here. (also the soldiers are nice...)

This line keeps geting better for every new pic! Although I will think both once and twice before buying the two castles, the smaller sets will surely find their way to my collection, I'm planning on doing some heavy army building this summer!
I'm back, and so is Castle!

I am really interested in the new line. I like a lot of what they are presenting.the sets seems to bea good combination of new elements combined with some classic favorites.
I am wondering how those new skeleton torsos with the new arms will look with old skeletins-no more inarticulate skeletons.
I am also wondering it the battle helms, barding and saddles will fit on the Skeleton horses...any bets?
The possibilities could be marvelous.
I think I'll sell my house ....
Thanks for posting the links.
Cheers,
Bert.

Yup, I figured they were just background "scenery".

Or maybe a hint to the following sets? :)
Though I wouldn't enjoy Trolls, oh well.

hmmm if this bigger version of the teaser photo is up to date, the trolls look like a lego mould of some sort to me and not just a picture.

I don't really like the trolls, but the ghouls (black creatures) and skellies (and their horses) are pretty cool.

yup, they sure do look like it, don't they? the actual design is kind of weird - they don't seem to have faces, the clubs, like the new scimitars, looks very bulky and "megablocksy", if you will, and actually makes them look like they're carrying big cotton candies to me, they're just sort of big blobs rather than as, i dunno, anthropomorphic, i guess, as i would have liked - but this is really exciting me to me as a stalwart fantasy guy. anyone have any opinion as to whether those helmets could come off and be used on other guys?

since we don't see them in any existant sets, this means either a) they were scrapped ( ) or we have awesome new sets to look forward too, with perhaps even more fantasy elements for both factions ( :D )

either way, good catch

That's funny. To me these "trolls" look like the only non-LEGO thing in the whole picture. I do'nt think we willl see trolls in production (and that's not saying I would'nt like to see it done:))
