No, the day posted was the day I sent in the envelope with the specs for them to send to me the prize. So how long exactly? I was looking around. A lot of the time prizes from companies have extremely poor shipping; sometimes 5-8 weeks. Obviously this is not the case.

I probably sent in the form the first week of Sept, and here we are Oct 3. So approx 4 weeks. Not too bad- unless one considers that I sent the form in to Elmhurst, Illinois (an hour away) and the product was sent from Elgin, Illinois (also an hour away). I could have picked it up same day if they'd let me.
What the heck, it was free.

I haven't gotten my prize yet. It's been 4 weeks since I sent my prize claim form, but I guess I'll have to wait a little longer than Karen because I live in CA.
Lord Felix mentioned that he won using Wilma, so I thought I should mention that I also selected Wilma when I won.

Hoo-ray! I won the skeleton prison carriage! I'm pumped because this is the set I've been waiting to get my hands on!
And no-doubt, it was Wilma that won it for me.
Right now I'm trying to get my stupid printer to work.

Okay, so I've been doing this for about three weeks. I'm starting to get really tired of the whole process, so much that usually I just give the page a perfunctory glance, then close it. I'm about to close the browser, then all of a sudden I notice the huge 'You Win!' emblazoned on the screen. Awesome! Skellie prison carriage #2, here you come!

And don't forget to always use Wilma.
Oh yeah, my little brother won a Skeleton prison carriage the other night... And I was playing it for him. Wow, I'm on a role!

Just remember that if you falsify your age to enter the contest, and win the grand prize, they may want to meet you, you know, photo op. Food for thought.
