Dwarves (Purist Customs)

Post by Lamanda2 »

I just love all the short legs that come in the Dwarves' Mine, finally I can get a good sized Dwarf Army going!

Image

All of these customs are 'pure' exept for the felow with the wavy orange hair, Gronger. I had to trim off a little plastic on the back of his hairpiece so it would fit with the beard.

What do you think of my little troops?

They're cute! I mean fierce...yeah :D

Great job with the dwarf army, a lot of personality in there, though the pirate hats threw me off a little :P

Very nice, I especially like the look of the flat-top haircuts.

Nice! The flat-tops are indeed my favorite, as well as the guy in the back with the wavy orange hair.

Thanks guys,

"They're cute! I mean fierce...yeah"

Heh heh heh... :P

"..though the pirate hats threw me off a little"

Yeah, I figured it might some, but I liked the way they looked so, on they went!
Call them Pirate-Dwarfs if you must.

"Very nice, I especially like the look of the flat-top haircuts."

Yes, the flat-tops pair up really nice with the new beards. I love my black flat-top paired up with the new black beard.

"..as well as the guy in the back with the wavy orange hair."

The Wavy hairpiece combined with those beards is just so perfect looking, it's too bad they can only fit together by being modded a bit though. (Not that I have a problem cutting my hairpieces.)

Some excellent customs once again, Amanda. I love the variety you created, straying away from just generic dwarves.

I bought two Dwarves' Mines, thats it. Each set comes with four Dwarves, not to mention two Goblins and the Troll. 8)

EDIT: I also had one pair of short legs in one of my LEGO bins.

I was wondering, do those two sided beards look OK on top of capes? just curious. (maybe some pix of the result?)

That is a fierce looking crew there, nice variety while keeping some form of uniform. (barely :P ) Altother, it works quite well. although, nothing against you, its just my personal taste, but i really don't like the pirate hats. yay stubbie legs!

Who said all drawves (sp?) have beards?

Anyway, great crew there, the orange haired one is my favorite. BTW, how did you get the sword that the dwarf with Qui-Gon hair is holding?

"two of the guys don't have beards.."

They don't?!
Heheh.. just kidding there. I'm aware I didn't give them beards, as Leaf has pointed out not every Dwarf has to have beards. (Think of the women and children! )

"One of Them is wearing an epaulette lol"

Was wondering if anybody spotted that, it's pretty hidden under that beard. :P
