I've been working on this for the past few days and it's finally finished!

It's not the highest movie making quality, but could you tell me if it's at least a small step up from my last movie, Order 66?

I really wanted to include music in this one, but I don't have any music I could use legally.

BTW, I'd rather you comment here instead of on the video itself.

Insider scoop: All the sound effects (Besides the bricks) came from my own mouth, maybe with a little sound editing on Audacity.

Very much lots better than Order 66! Just make sure when you take a picture, it's in focus and looks good. And try not to bump things. Other than that, very good!

I second the comments above about futher improvements. However, you did a good job with the car crashing scene!

And I really like, in Order 66, the throwing the balls of paper for credits.

I blame all mistakes on my crappy camera.

The preview screen makes the picture look weird so I can't really see how well the picture came out, and it has a rubber band wrapped around it to keep the battery case closed, which makes the camera bob around when it's touched.

I hope to make another movie over my Christmas break, and this time, I'll try to get more than one shot.

This was okay for your second film, but you could improve it a lot. Look on Brickfilms for tips on how to make your animation better. You also need a better microphone. You could probably get a good microphone for $20.

I would suggest you upgrade your sound effects.

Can you take pictures using your computer? If you can you would be able to see your images before you take the next one.

And keep working away at it! I just finished one film so I know how time consuming it can be, but it is well worth the effort. Not sure if you want any help with voice acting, but I would be more then willing to lend my voice if you do want some help.

Negatory on the compy camera. We have a webcam but it's a pain in the rear to use.

I've already started shooting for another movie... It'll be in the space adventure theme.
It will be using this one to practice dialouge, instead of camera angles like I did in this one... I will probably be buying a new microphone, so I think I can do with out you here.

I used a webcam once, and they are hard to use. If you want an inexpensive camera that takes good quality pictures, look at the Canon Powershot cameras.

The one I have is a G9, but for a long time I used the A520, and it was very good. The only reason I got the G9 was for its ability to take 12 megapixel pictures.

No, its not. I still need to add the sound, and I'm not very happy with it. It was more of a test to see how well I could edit the images using photoshop. In that way I'm pretty happy with it:

How will you be practicing dialogue? I have seen one method where you edit the minifigs mouth, will you be doing that or something else? And if you want more then one voice, I'm here...

I meant practicing such things as writing dialouge, and the voice acting.
In this one, the minifigs will only move their head or something when talking.

I'll work on making minifigs mouths move another time.

Oh yeah, I'll also be doing some photoshopping in this one... Photoshopping is the part I fear worst.

But I need to learn to use it better.

Im sorry, but the volume is really low. I had to turn up my speakers almost to maximum just to hear the dialog normally.
