I still prefer brickshelf.

Your battlements technique is awesome. It looks good and allows for a nice color combination. The downside is that this technique uses a lot of tiles but other than that, its an excellent technique!
Another reason for me to order more tiles off bricklink.

Good technique. Unfortunately, it would cost a small fortune to pull this off on a larger scale. That would require an insane number of tiles, headlight bricks, and jumper plates to achieve on a castle the size of something like Anthony's Ulmaris.

I guess the biggest problem with great techniques like this is that it simply isn't possible to implement on a big MOC while keeping it reasonably priced. Good idea though.
