Ahh, ahh, a fleshie!
Okay, other than the fleshie head I quite like it. The legs aren't too long to be out of proportion, nor too short to be, well, too short. I'm not sure I like the 1x1 yellow plates used in the legs. I'm sure you tried out different designs, but I think that 1x1 round plates would look better.

Very cool. You have your big tall kngiht none of the other gents want to mess with. I remember looking at suits of armour and most fit men about 5'6 or 7" then coming across a gent who was nearing 7'. I just thought... how would it be to be fighting and turn to see the next fight you had being him at 6'or 9" in full armour. Yikes!
I like him. Not sure about the shield but it is nice. How did you do the legs?

thanks for the comments
the design itself is explained in the thread in General LEGO. I used yellow 1*1 plates instead of 1*1 round plates to accentuate the knee armour wich is a little bit on top of the rest of the leg armour.
TT
EDIT:
here's the link wich explains the legs design etc.:

It's too bad Lego does not make the t-bar in black...

At first I didn't care for this, but I must say that it growing on me. I do like the fact that the legs look much better proportioned than the standard minifig legs. Have you put one on a horse? You'd have to take off the pointed armor-shoe of course. Could look interesting.

Mr. Blue Knight, designs are being developed to let one sit on a horse, the horse will also have to be designed...
Anyway, here's a medieval-like update:
Landsknecht:
I should complete that Teutonic Knight...
