Re: Castle Gatehouse
Nice gate! I enjoy the mixing of the round towers into the square ones. It looks very nice as well as being fairly realistic in medieval fortifications. Thanks for putting it up.

Very nice. I like all the little details. The corners of the first floor exterior of the house are well done. Long as you keep putting up quality mocs take your time. You dont have to be an active builder to be an afol.

Nice, I especially like the wood-stone combo. It looks really cool.

Re: Castle Gatehouse
I really like the design of the whole thing. The rounded walls with the square towers is sweet and the wooden part adds a real sense of realism.
A bit of (hopefully) contructive critism: I'm not a big fan of the mottling in this case. I think that it makes the walls look too busy and cluttered. That's just my opinion, though, and it is still a very nice creation.
In Christ,

Nice job! Does the fact that you've made this modular mean that this is part of a larger MOC?
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.

Re: Castle Gatehouse
This is what I like: well balanced MOC, not too many minifigs, right choice of them, balanced and beatiful details, good interiors and beatiful walls (rounder/square).
I like also the fact that the MOC is not huge.

Re: Castle Gatehouse
Wow, this is really good. A nice size for a gate house, not too big and not too small. I have to disagree with Remyth and say that I love the molted walls. This is really good, can't wait to see more of this quality work, even if I have to wait.

My thoughts exactly, this is brilliant.Heir of Black Falcon wrote:Nice gate! I enjoy the mixing of the round towers into the square ones. It looks very nice as well as being fairly realistic in medieval fortifications. Thanks for putting it up.
As for that, I fully understand. I myself have not posted here - until yesterday - in quite a while, as a two family members were hospitalized. Real life should always take priority over the internet, and kids are a valid excuse. Great work on the moc and congrats on keeping it safe from your children!I Scream Stone wrote:I apologise for not being too active any more, kids take up a lot of time.
