This was actually an experiment with mixing up all five shades of common gray to combat the BGW, including the Very Light Gray from the Mosaic sets. I added a bunch of minifigs to spice it up and a theme to it.
Please note: The room I build in is not that well lit, so I had no idea the nightstand I put it on was still as dirty as it was even after some attention from Clorox wipes- not until I saw the picture. Also, until now, I couldn't see that much difference between the bleys and greys because of the poor light, as when I order from Bricklink I tend to take it right down to my workroom. So seeing the contrasts was pretty startling:

I'm kind of disappointed that the troll with the broken neck on the railing piece isn't too visible- I liked that little detail because it told you exactly what had happened to him.
NOTE: The last pic is of the custom minifigs I made to be the orc and skeleton leaders. My ideal orc leader will soon be the troll king from the Mountain Fortress with a Skull Twin helmet, the red hook hand, the same brown cape- and I'm undecided about the armor.
EDIT: If the folder is not public, could someone quickly explain how to make it so? I looked for that option but couldn't find it.
Two against many
Re: Two against many
Because Brickshelf is supposed to be a platform for sharing brick creations, all new files and folders need to be checked by a moderator to make sure that you're not just using it to upload and share pictures of last week's birthday party at a friend's house, and also to make sure that what you post is kid-friendly, no overly sexual content for example.Bug Eyed Earl wrote:EDIT: If the folder is not public, could someone quickly explain how to make it so? Because of this, it can take a while (anywhere from an hour to a few days) for a moderator to review your new folder and make it public. So basically the answer is: you can't make it public, you'll have to wait for it to be moderated.
What I (personally) sometimes do is wait with posting things on forums until the folder is public, but if I get really impatient or I really can't contain my excitement about sharing something I've just finished, I include some deeplinks to the pictures.
This guide by Bruce has a bit on posting deeplinks: Link

plus I think brickshelf is updating because all files and folders are empty right now, so this will also take up to 1 - 3 days till everything is back up again

Re: Two against many
I think you've won the battle against BGW syndrome (Perhaps this might be considered overkill). You've got some interesting things happening here but the wall is so busy that many of the details are getting lost in the mottling of the wall itself. The wall is extremely chaotic so many of the battle scene details are hard to focus on. Also, you might want to set your MOC against a more neutral backdrop. Hang a sheet or piece of paper on the wall or use a photo-editing program to remove the wood panel background. The MOC itself is nice enough, and the battle seems interesting. I'm just having a hard time following it all with all of the distractions in the background.

Re: Two against many
I love the action and feeling of movement going on with the figures running up the steps and stabbing skeletons. As for the wall, your mixtures of greys made interesting what would have been just a plain wall. Mixing greys isn't the only way to stop plain walls. You may want to experiment adding some sloping bricks or SNOT pieces to make your walls even more interesting. Just a thought

I like this idea. The (Good?) side outnumbered by the forces of evil! The only thing I would say is maybe some more light like putting your MOC under a lamp, focused over the King and the Knight so you can see them better.

Two against all of those evil things...... you have to feel sorry for them. The skellies and trolls, that is.
Re: Two against many
I like it. The different shades of gray give it a realistic feel.
