Like my war hammer, this mace is a design I've been using for about five years.

I don't really go in for maces, but that (perhaps slightly different in coloration) is what I use when I do.

Actually, I think that most people use Anthony's design (whether they got it from him, got independently, or from a common origin, who cares?) for maces.

I like Sava's or the 1x1 with studs on sides stuck on 4L bar.

I use Jeff's (Blasterman) maces. They are great, and the look good with my footsoldiers. I can't wait till the flail comes out... And the war hammer (if I remember correctly)

Since I only have 10 Armory maces, I make up some maces like Anthony's.

Great minds think alike. I have been using the same mace design as Anthony. I thought it was my own discovery until I discovered the Ikros site waaay back in the days of CW.

Whoo Hoo, now I'm a Man-At-Arms. No more of this Gentleman stuff. :D

Is it just me or did the old He-Man cartoon have a Man at Arms?
After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

I don't use a mace. I prefer the standard Lego weapons (I'm not very original when it comes to weaponry). If I had a mace, I would just use someone else's design. I like Anthony's mace a lot.

I've already used it as the Sauron mace Robin Hood.
Thanks.

No prolbem. Assuming that I helped you. I hope we can see your Sauron. Perhaps the purpose you started this thread was to get a mace idea for Sauron. If that is true, your welcome.

Actually, like the (we'll call it this:) Sava Design, the (we'll call it this:) Sauron design has been kicking around for a while.

And yes, I've noticed that the Sava Design has a tendency to slip. I've corrected this tendency with a rather tiny amount of sticky-tack between the pieces. Not so much to hold them together as to seal the space between them.

You know, in all my years of using this design, it's never slipped once. In fact, the gears actually get damaged by using this design because it's such a tight fit.

You must be using the newer style of gear, the gears I've been using have all four triangles in the technic hole, and as I said, it's a very tight fit.

Must be the age difference. I only have the newer ones (assuming the change came within the last three years or so)

My brother, who has some older ones, has no problem.
