I'm afraid i wouldn't be able to come, i have planned too many trips this year already.
I am probably going to Fanwelt in Cologne in november, so if anyone wants to meet me and my MOCs and visit one of the largest AFOL orientated LEGO events in Europe you should come!
Check out these pictures of the previous fanwelt in 2008.

Yep, DNL, myself and Jalkow will be the "other guys", and the other gals Stuifzand and MOCkingbird. We're going to put down as impressive a Castle layout as we can! :D
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

Hmm... I wish me that trip to my birthday...so my parents have asked wether I'm serious with it...I am.
They've told me that I probably could go on saturday by train, so I'm not sure if I can bring some smaller MoCs.
But I'd like to ask you some questions...:
What do I have to pay as exhibitor ?
Are there shops/stores with Lego ?
Would you guys trade Lego ?
How/Where could we meet ?

Thanks for all answers ;-)

Nothing at all, exhibiting is free. You do need to pay to stay somewhere during the night.
Are there shops/stores with Lego ?
Yes, there are some private sellers and there is also a LEGO brand store in Cologne.
Would you guys trade Lego ?
I probably won't take any LEGO with me to trade, but there might be others who want to trade, or we could organize something.
How/Where could we meet ?
I guess we will be close to our castle layout most of the time, so pretty much at any time during the event close to the castle layout.

Visit legofanwelt.de for more info.

I hope to see you there!

Thanks soo much!
I didn't know that there is a lego store.
Cool, I've ever thought exhibiting would cost as much as visiting...
Hmm lets see if there is anyone who wants to trade.

Is there a link to a site with details? I'm going to be in Switzerland the latter half of November for work and could possibly arrange a weekend excursion over there depending on when it is.

Cool, thanks for the info! I'll be in Baden, Switzerland from November 14th - December 4th for training for work. Cologne looks like it might be a bit of a trip, I'll have to check out the trains to see how long it will take to get up there, but that may be a possibility.
