I was cleaning up my room yesterday, and I love to organize all of my empty boxes. (I keep them in mint condition. ) I was in the midst of putting my castle boxes up, and I noticed that on the front of the Mistlands Tower box that there is a silver/chrome lance behind King Jayko's horse; just sitting there on the ground. The lance is NOT in the set. I wonder if anyone else noticed this, and if so, could tell me why? Also, on the side of the Battle at the Pass box, LEGO spelled Drascus's name "Dracus." Am I the only one who noticed this?
Please do not turn this thread into a discussion of why KK2 stinks. Anyway, the sets I just mentioned are very nice in my opinion, especially for KK2.

Re: Knights Kingdom Box Art Question
After checking Peeron and Bricklink sources on Mistlands Tower, I have concluded that there is no silver lance in said set. There are two black lances, but no silver one.
This is just a case of false adverti- Just kidding !
Lego probably changed something last minute or goofed up with the set. For example, the latest Kingdoms Wizard set has a spelling error on it, just like how Drascus's name is spelled wrong. Who knows though, maybe Lego magically stole all of the lances out of the box!
Hope this helps!
(Oh and by the way, I kind of like KK2/3 too. )

Re: Knights Kingdom Box Art Question
To my knowledge that is the second time that a Knight's Kingdom box showed an element on the cover that was not included in the set. I was stunned that my copy of 8780 (Citadel of Orlan) did not include the green knight armor, but it was pictured on the cover as an element exclusive for the included minifigure. Typically customer service will address your confusion with the part in question to avoid irking you if it was one of the parts selling the set to you. LEGO was gracious enough to send me the green armor anyhow.

It's pretty funny you know that the green armor was not that hard to get in other sets while the green torso printed is exclusive really to this setI was stunned that my copy of 8780 (Citadel of Orlan) did not include the green knight armor, but it was pictured on the cover as an element exclusive for the included minifigure.

Re: Knights Kingdom Box Art Question
When the line was launched, the only way to get the green armor was in the Castle of Morica, which I hated the look and parts of. The printing on the armor and torsos of the KK2 gang didn't suit me, but I wanted to Brasso the green armor so I could have my own vig for Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Later on in that year the green knight was included in the TRU exclusive set, but early on not so.Webrain wrote:It's pretty funny you know that the green armor was not that hard to get in other sets while the green torso printed is exclusive really to this setI was stunned that my copy of 8780 (Citadel of Orlan) did not include the green knight armor, but it was pictured on the cover as an element exclusive for the included minifigure.
