Thanks for the list of minifigure codes, would it be possible to get a photo of the upc of the back of any one of the packages? THere are a could of places having the UPC might help in tracking down sets and any of the times I have tried typing in a upc given as number it usually seems to have the wrong number of digits (11 or 13 works, 12 fails).

Edit, or even the TRU stock number from the receipt could help as well but I'd like the UPC if at all possible.

Thanks Sava! Wish I had a printer, hope a cell phone camera is clear enough. Now I can finally start looking for Spartans!

This was posted to the Sealug mailing list--and now you've got the Pacific Northwest all in a tizzy.

Thanks, Sava. ;)

(On a srs note, thanks. This'll definitely be helpful.)

Thanks for the codes. The small patrons of Toys R Us also say Thank You. In my area all the TRUs have figs but only two boxes apiece. The manager told me customers are argry they can't find the figs anywhere and the quantities distributed run out too quickly.

As of 11:43 CST no figs on TRU.com or Lego.com

I found a picture over on eurobricks that had the backs of both series 1 and 2 in full (Whitefang posted in some thread) so I now have the UPC number I wished for.

Its only been like a day since their release in USA, and they're already sold out in a few cities.

Good luck on finding these, I think a lot of us will end up empty handed.

I managed to grab some at my TRU this morning, so they're definitely being stocked widely now.

Here's a break-down of 1 box:*

Weightlifter........4
Explorer............3
Mime................4
Disco Man..........3
Cop..................5
Pharaoh............3
Lifeguard..........4
Mariachi...........4
Ringmaster........4
Martial Artist......5
Diva.................3
Witch...............4
Skier................3
Surfer..............3
Dracula.............4
Spartan.............3

[edited for corrections. I realized that I misread a barcode]

For those of you not getting whole boxes, and who don't have the time to stand there checking barcodes, I did noticed that the figs seemed to be mostly packed in 2's and 3's, in the rows, and most individual types were in 1 row only. So for the best assortment, you'd want to pull randomly from all over the box, not just take 1 row or something like that.

*I don't know yet if all the boxes have the same make-up. I heard that series 1 varied.

In the one box I picked thru to get a set at TRU, there were only three Spartans.
So 100 boxes would create the 300.
I took one.

I have misgivings about the collectible aspect of all this. I feel like the target buyers were children to entice them into the hobby, but the mass collectors and resellers are dominating sales, practically shutting everyone else out. Also the eminent release of the Lego MMORPG Universe would be enhanced if players could buy the figs that they play with online. This could already be a feature or option, I don't know. Considering all the licensed properties Lego is currently producing and will produce, figs representing those lines are highly sought after and I would want that option for Universe. I was intrigued lego did these collectible figs and I thought that these would represent archtypes in the game players could modify/personalize for their real life collection.

Also if the new dark green wizard for Kingdoms is 3.99, but this witch is 1.99, I'll take the witch.

Sorry for the rant. I feel your frustration. The only reason I have a complete set of series one is my best friend drove a 3 hour round trip to a TRU and found the ones we needed to complete our sets. I still owe him dinner. My only hope is that Lego HQ will see the demand for themed figs and then create sets of popular figs for sale, similar to the army builder sets. Six pack of cheerleaders, legion of spartans, bucket o' zombies, pryamid of pharohs.

Yes, I sifted through a box to get a set. The figs seem to be clumpled together
This was the breakdown. If your box had no vampres or spartans, boo........ hiss.
