Havn't done a Castle Lego Drawing in a while. Actually, I think this is the first LEGO drawing I've done in a while. Life is short, it's flying by....
A drawing inspired by the new Kingdoms sets....

Re: Kingdom Inspired Art
Wow, this is great! My favorite parts have to be the dark clouds surrounding the full moon and the fallen lion knights trying to save the Princess. Nice job!

Re: Kingdom Inspired Art
Well done!
I especially like the horse and the armor of the Knight and the horse.
The woman looks very good too, the floating hair is awesome and I think her view tells us, that she likes the dragon Knight.
How long did it take you to draw it?

Re: Kingdom Inspired Art
I agree. What I enjoy about drawn pictures versus actual Lego MOCs is the range of motion available. Of course, there is already huge freedom for that and other details with the brick, and creative solutions are always exciting to discover. But it's also fun to see what can be done freehand with things like facial expressions, depth, and movement. Great work!Legoorci wrote:The woman looks very good too, the floating hair is awesome and I think her view tells us, that she likes the dragon Knight.

Egnima- Yes, I would agree, giving life to the Lego is probably the reason I end up drawing them, they start to come alive.
Legorici- I'm hoping for Dragon Knight Horse barding, so for now I will wait patiently and just draw it. Your right, I think she is enjoying being kidknapped! Took an hour an 1/2 to sketch and color it. It's not too big, about 6x8 inches.
Forest Boy- I too like the dead lion knight and the one holding his throat. I was going to make the castle burning, like this one knight had slain everyone, set fire to the castle and stole the maiden, but that seemed a little unbelievable, so perhaps he snuck her out at night, and the two sentries on the road paid the price. Glad you like it.

or:Have I ever told you that Daddy hates when you come to pick me up? He also think you ride too fast and wear too many chains.
Daddy says I have to be home by the quarter moon or I'll be grounded for a fortnight.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Re: Kingdom Inspired Art
Wow, I really like this. Great job on the detail and shading. I'd go with the idea that the dragon knight isn't really a dragon knight at all and now both kingdoms will be at war while these 2 go off in some other direction to live their lives. Awesome work.
