CCCVIII Castle Evolution

Here is my first entry for the mightiest of all contests.

Tree-fort evolution, built for the Castle Evolution catagory.

Do not be mad, this is my first "not fantastic" reply, but I just did not get this MOC
maybe because I am from a party... I will take one more look tomorow

I like the first two, because it looks like the site is evolving to suit the boy's growing into a man (who just happens to love treehouses ), but the WW1 looking skeleton in the tree stump just doesn't seem to tie in with the first two at all. Maybe if you had put the original guy as an old man in the stump or on a dead tree I would get it. Maybe you can explain the last scene and I'll have a mini epiphany about the conection. Don't let this get you down in any way though, the first two are great IMO, and I'm sure the last one is just a difference of opinions.

And as near as I can tell, the man and tree have died and fallen in the last one. Doesn't seem too hard to figure out to me.

As for the story prtrayed, SV pointed it out perfectly. I guess it didn't seem as obvious to others as I might have thought.

Elbadar: The WW1 looking skeleton isn't supposed to be a WW1 looking skeleton. I just thought that helmet looked castley, kind of like the kettle helmet.

This is awesome. An interesting take on "evolution". The tree growing and dying as he does. I'm not sure about the helmet on the skeleton at the end though. I might just use the same helmet as the middle picture. But all in all its a great MOC. I like the pot on his head in the first picture .
