New Brown?

Post by J_MAN »

I just received some of the new Kingdoms sets for Christmas this year and noticed to my delight that it appears Lego is producing a new shade of brown! All the brown bricks and weapons appear to look significantly less 'reddish' than before. Is this just me or are other people noticing this too? This is great because I could never stand the awkward looking reddish brown. It just looks so artificial.

I think what you're seeing is simply inconsistency in through the colour. Sometimes batches come out with a noticeably different shade.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

I hope its not a new color. Having two browns is bad enough.

Agreed^. If you examine closely some colors will have more variation in their consistency. Brown being one of them.

It is inconsistency, my MMV table looks more natural with variations to the tiles' blend.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm glad I'm not he only one who noticed the difference.
