Northguard Village - First MOC

Post by Silver.Smith »

I've been a long time reader of Classic-Castle, but I've have not posted much. That is all about to change! I would like to present my first MOC ever, featuring the Medieval Market Village.

Last summer I picked up a copy of the Medieval Market Village which prompted me to build a entire village around it.
Enjoy and please leave comments!

Very nice village, and welcome to CC! I like your terrain and the water to the side. Very well done!

I also like your village! There is a lot going on and it is fun to look through the pictures and see all the activity.

Wow, I sure wish my first MOC was half as awesome! I'm a sucker for villages, and yours is definitely a good one. I got the Medieval Market Village and I'm trying to do the same as you so I'll draw inspiration from this. All of your pics will keep me busy at work for a long while, methinks. C:

Welcome to Classic-Castle! I hope you enjoy this awesome site.

Now for the MOC, it's really cool! I like the way you used the Medieval Market set sin your layout. I also like the wood over hang by one of the buildings. Great work! It looks almost modular, like it's going to be part of something bigger.

Thanks for the positive comments all!
Now I need to take it apart for the next chapter of Northguard village.
I'd also like to thank my wife for taking such good pictures with such bad lighting. :)

I don't believe that this is your first MOC. You have an eye for detail and designs that is enviable by any experienced builder. Fantastic work!

FIRST MOC??? I'm having a hard time believing that... but if it is, then you, my friend, have serious potential.

This is incredible!!! much better than any of mine even after a couple years! Keep up the good work!!!

And so he slipped into the forest, vanishing without a trace, leaving his pursuers lost without ideas, while he went to finish his MOC's.

Wow, I can't believe this is your first MOC! You sir, are off to a great start.

Some of my favorite parts are the castle wall, the different elevations, and the way you built that pathway up to the town. Keep up the great work!
