2011 Set Report

Post by Athos »

Not a leak this time...

Brickset has a report from the London Toyfair:

Yay for more Castle! Harry Potter is always welcome too.

Still no news on a modular building...

Nobody covering this event had a camera? I guess we'll have to wait for the pics from the Toronto toy fair this upcoming weekend.
You won't hear anything about a 'modular building' from the toy fairs, if there's one coming this year it will be an exclusive set and they don't show those to retailers. As far as I know anyway.

**edit**
Oh, I see that photography was prohibited.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

just asking so I dont repeat a previous mistake...
Some folk we never forget
Some kind we never forgive
Haven’t seen the back of us yet
We’ll fight as long as we live

Doesn't sound like it. But at least we get goats. I hope they're a decent mold...

Guess I can deal with that, especially with the goats being in a cheaper set.

I'm quite bummed that the dragon prison is smaller, prob a thirty dollar set. That being said, we will get peasants and more dragon knights!

Anyone who's seen the dragon prison, able to give us a detailed description?

This is probably a good time to mention to everyone that: What is being reported from the toy fair in London is not the same thing as seeing those leaked images that many of us have seen already. Most, if not all, of those images were of pre-production/prototype sets and the final product will vary somewhat from what was seen.

Please don't get too excited about what you saw in those images and start spouting off about the poor quality of some of the figs, don't get too excited about a possible pitchfork because we don't know if it even made it into the final product. Even on the flip side of negativity, there is the chance of being too pumped up for something you may see in a new colour that also may not have. In essence, forget the prelims you saw, they may not mean anything now.
