Wow, I have never heard of Takeshi Itou before today, I'm glad i found this thread.
I really like this castle, I feel it combines the feel of Classic Castle with the factions and advancements of modern-day LEGO. Very nice combo indeed.

I really love the style and look of his builds! This castle is lovely! I especially like the water falls!

Wonderfull as usual! I really love how Takeshi uses relatively simple techniques to make amazing MOCs.

The lack of techniques such as SNOT and brick built rocks, give his builds a very "classic" feel to them. Evan though there is nothing really new to these mocs, they have a great feel.

This is one of the best mocs ever.
You've got to ask yourself one question,"Do I feel lucky?" Well do ya, punk?

The castle is great as usual. I particularly like the small bridge.
But, I am not certain the landscaping is as successful with this creation as previous Itou mocs. Perhaps it is just me, but seeing the hollow studs on the tops of burps is bothersome. In addition, the cliff side of the moc could use additional color other than the two shades of grey.

Thanx for pointing this one out Bruce! His castles always have just the right mix of classic nostalgia, creativity, technique, and a little fantasy. Ive had his Brickshelf page bookmarked for some time now and browse it whenever I feel the need for inspiration.

This is a wonderfull MOC. A proof that advanced building techniks are not necessary for grace. And what is wrong with BURPs? They are original bricks and sometimes it is hard to use them cause of their size and shape. If (any) studs are visible - hey Lego is about studs, without them bricks will not bond!
Builders are building for themselves(I hope), not to please audience. Once again great job by Takeshi.

one of the rare builders that implement blue and grey in castles he shows so much with relatively small amount of bricks like one writer told me when I was a kid, when he reduced his book by 70%: "You have to grow to simplicity":)

He who thinks you should look at the box that says "Quaraga" if you want to find out his username (about as useful to you as his real name). he only wants you to look so he can laugh about you looking there because he's a total smart...
