The lego pitchfork is finely back :D sadly it does not come in a castle set but one of the new space sets for 2011 :( http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4896094

Do not fear, there are two pitchforks in one of the upcoming Kingdoms sets. You can see pictures here. You might also be interested in some of the discussion here.

You don't.

I don't think the farmer was 100% willing in getting abducted by aliens. :)

That's funny! A space set is the last place I'd have expected to see a pitchfork!

They should have put a cow in that set... then you really would have a space cow...

I am just so happy for peasants and pitchforks that I have been pretty content and quiet about it. Put 'em in every set or theme, I don't care. Just so long as they are real. :tasty:

Every additional set that contains the pitchfork will increase their availability, always 'A Good Thing'. The fact that it's in a smaller set than the windmill also bodes well for the ability to acquire them.
Build? I merely Acquire atm.

... but how will people know how awesome I am if my pitchforks aren't rare anymore?

Glad to see them return, I'll be curious to see if there are subtle differences in the shape.

We told you to stop abducting innocent people Seb!

But I am glad that it is back, as I now I can arm my village army.

The new pitchfork mold is slightly different. For example the bottom of the old pitchfork was rounded (like the tip of a lance) but the new pitchfork is not. A softer plastic is also being used. I am very happy that the pitchfork has returned. Thanks TLG. But I prefer a the old solid abs version.
