Man of Mystery!

I really want this set for the chicken and the blacksmith. I want many copies, so the arms, armor and soldier are just fodder for more of what I call the Great Armory. Good to finally have something smaller than Halberds and Lances to amass in larger quantity. This is a good time to be an adult fan of LEGO.
Wait a second what is wrong with Halberds?

Anyways I can't hold out any longer I am going to buy my first blacksmith today, then I will begin making the new bow useful.

Halberds are a wonderful invention! Who wouldn't want to amass them in their armory? I'm going to soon, at least. :D By the way 777, I can't get over your avatar... great movie. Cary Elwes is one of my favorite actors.

I wouldn't want to amass my armory with them. :? Doesn't fit in with the time period of my "universe."

More on topic, I'm hoping to pick up one of these today! Wish me luck in finding one! :)

Arrrgghhh I hate you all who have who can get your hands on the Blacksmith Attack. I have cash to buy a few of them but alas no store I have found within a forty-five mile radius sells the set.

How about a pic of the new weapons in a minifigs hand?

I picked one of these up the other day (TRU in Jackson, Michigan if anyone cares) and wasn't disappointed - it's a great little set.

Thanks for the review.
I think this set is great and it's nice to see that Lego are finally implementing medieval life into the Castle theme, which I have not really seen since the 90's (apart from medieval market village). I'll definitely buy this set. :D

I thought the little bag of weapons reminds me of something you might get from BrickForge or Brick Arms. I am not trying to mean this in a negative way,
just that the big company is producing stuff that the community at large might be interested in buying.

For 9.99 or 12.99 Canadian, its well worth it.

Im eager to put the set together. My wife was hoping for a POTC set, but I told her she'd have to wait...... :roflol:

Those new "Heroica Weapons" would be awesome for anyone with a Dwarven Army.

I sometimes wonder if LEGO will put out a Minifigure Sized "HEROICA" line. If that were to happen, it would be either a Secondary Castle-ish theme (much like Vikings or Prince of Persia) or Kingdoms' replacement Castle line in a year or two.

Got the set last night. Besides the daggers, I do not like any other of the new weapons. The other new weapons just don't seem to fit with all the other weapons.

I bought this set 2 nights ago and it's ok. The bucket is cool, and the chicken is neat. You can make a bucket of chicken  The Blacksmith is cool. The weapons on the other hand are crap. They don't mix well with the other weapons and the proportions are just way off to look cool in a minifig's hand. The only thing I'd use them for is if I were making a toy shop, as they seem like Nerf compared to the other stuff.
