So we Canadians have finally had our first national convention, Brickfete. As I've never been to a LEGO convention I must say I was quite impressed. We even managed to pull together a nice little Castle display. There were some really nice MOcs there and the participants were all fantastic. I can honestly say I'm truly looking forward to Brickfete 2012!
I've thrown up a few pictures on Flickr (I finally got around to registering an account) and on Brickshelf.
Brickfete was a great first show and a great experience.
(I'll get around to posting more photos of my castle later this week)

I always love how any event in Ontario - or maybe just Metro Toronto - is somehow a "National" event.
But seriously, I wish I coulda been there.

Hey,
I was just looking through your gallery. It looks like there were a lot of great creations on display. That's your big castle, right? Also, who built the Great Wall of China MOC?

Sorry about that. I tend to forget that being from Ontario is considered a bad thing everywhere else in Canada. Still, the event was great and it would have been great if you could have been there..Tedward wrote:I always love how any event in Ontario - or maybe just Metro Toronto - is somehow a "National" event.

Yes, the large castle is mine. I'm still in the final stages of photographing the interior rooms so it will likely be a day or two (or three) before I get a proper gallery posted. The Great wall of China was built by Simon Liu (Si-MOCs) who seemingly provided an endless supply of excellent MOCs.
