My 3rd Entry for MCC; SWITCHED BACKGROUND
Here is my 3rd entry for the MCC,
The great hall, kitchen, granary, barracks/stables, and church are all based off of those buildings in David Macaulays book, Castle.
I think you can see the improvement. I took some suggestions and switched the background color. Hope you like it.
The pictures have descriptions. Here is the link, http://www.flickr.com/photos/66620538@N ... otostream/
Any comments or questions are welcome.

Wow! Although it's an LDD MOC (I'm not a big fan of them), I must say that I like it a lot!
Castle is superb!

Re: My 3rd Entry for MCC
Thanks, I would have built it real but I don't have very much grey at all. I was quite happy with the way the castle came out.Hrvoje wrote:Wow! Although it's an LDD MOC (I'm not a big fan of them), I must say that I like it a lot!

Nice work with this moc. What do you mean by the mcc contest?
You've got to ask yourself one question,"Do I feel lucky?" Well do ya, punk?

I'd love to see this in brick! Great job with it! I'm especially fond of the little boat.

Re: My 3rd Entry for MCC
Yeah that would be pretty cool. It took me two or three tries to get the boat the way I wanted it, I had to do the sails a little differently then most people because I made it in LDD.Ashkestral wrote:I'd love to see this in brick! Great job with it! I'm especially fond of the little boat.

Re: My 3rd Entry for MCC
Yeah, I just got LDD a couple weeks ago. But boy does it make me mad that you can't do a lot of SNOT techniques . but anywho, about your build, very good! I like the boat, the castle and the mountains and just about everything else! I did not know you could post LDD stuff in contests like this! good luck in the MCC!soccerkid6 wrote:Yeah that would be pretty cool. Yeah, thanks for the encouragement. I didn't realize you could post LDD stuff either til I saw this http://www.flickr.com/photos/3523709825 ... 396807683/ which won a previous MCC.klorox wrote:Yeah, I just got LDD a couple weeks ago. Re: My 3rd Entry for MCC
This is nice, but I think it would look better on a plain (white or another neutral colour) background - at the moment the background is detracting from the presentation of the model IMHO.

Re: My 3rd Entry for MCC
you can either go to toolbox in build mode and click take snapshot and you will get a blank light gray background. the file will be called "LDD screenshot 1" Or to be quick about it just press control and k on your keyboard and it should tell you that you took a screenshot.soccerkid6 wrote:How would I switch that?Karrde wrote:This is nice, but I think it would look better on a plain (white or another neutral colour) background - at the moment the background is detracting from the presentation of the model IMHO.

Re: My 3rd Entry for MCC
Do you think normal grey would be better? Or like a light yellow?
