Well it's all over

Post by Slobey »

I havesold off my entire lego collection. Planned on selling it all bit by bit but the first person to buy a set offered me a good price for the whole lot. It's been fun, but now I have more important things (to me) to spend my money on with 2 kids and a car I'm working on.

Just like to give a special thanks to all the people on this forum, admins right down to the newbies have made this place a pleasure to be a part of. I may pop in and lurk from time to time but I think I'll have to live my lego fetish through my girls when they grow up a bit more.

Once again cheers and I hope everyone keeps this site a friendly pleasant place to be a part of.

So long,

Quent (slobey)

Oh, sad to see you go, and to hear you selling off your collection, but well, family comes first. So I hope you all the best in the future and keep in touch.
Eventhough you sold your collection, I bet the Lego fever is still burning in you :)

Take Care and all the best-!

Sad to see you go, but sometimes you have to make these sacrifices. Best of luck with everything mate.

We will all miss you I'm sure. While the decision you made was a sad decision, it was a good one. Family always comes first. Hopefully maybe one or two of your children may take interest in Lego during the future.

You will be remembered here. (And your always welcome here as well)

Good luck finding those Kingdoms sets, the only ones I can find are overpriced :( Returns are always a good thing though.

Yea Kingdoms sets are pretty much sold out. Can be found ofcourse on the net but like sir bragallot said they are overpriced.
In a market near me there are still 2 dragon knight prison tower sets for 59 €, I am waiting that they would drop in price but it seems like it wont be happening :(
