Is this editor able to quickly add white backgrounds? That's the only editing I really need to do, but I never found a way on picnik. Did I just miss it, or is it not a feature?

Medieval Guy, having used Paint, Paint.NET, GIMP, Photoshop, and various other online editors, I have found that most of them will have the ability to add white backdrops (though how clean or easy is a different story, depending on the tool you use and your experience)

Picnik never really had much of an actual "editing" program, more of a correction and adjustment program with some fun stickers and stuff along the way. My suggestion would be to try out GIMP and see if it fits you. Finding tutorials on Google or YouTube would also help.
